TMVSS Veterinary

TMVSS Veterinary v4.0 is a product intended for all cattle breeders, which helps maintain the health of the entire herd by constantly supervising individual pieces.

Modern elements of precision agriculture in livestock breeding are based on the monitoring of individual factors influencing production, life manifestations and health status. Modern society is not only interested in food safety and quality, discusses the principles of sustainable agriculture, is interested in the health of farmed animals and ensuring well-being, with an acceptable impact of animal production on the environment. For these and other reasons, there is a growing need to monitor many variable indicators.

It is a multidisciplinary approach to the evaluation of locomotor score or limb health, which is based on defined data obtained by the stationary thermographic system of TMV SS, spol. s r.o. The selection of evaluated quantities is difficult for living organisms, because their variability is caused by natural biological variability. Although the biological processes of animals are relatively complex, it is possible to use automated systems, ie online monitoring and online evaluation of these processes. The whole system is based on elements of precision agriculture in livestock breeding, with the aim of early diagnosis of diseases of the limbs of cows. The focus on the limbs aims to early diagnose and reduce the incidence of diseases of the limbs of cattle, which are among the most painful diseases. In addition, they are closely linked to performance, reproductive parameters and overall health. A powerful tool of the tested process is fully automated and non-invasive data collection, which in no way restricts the evaluated animals and takes place automatically without the necessary service. The used thermographic measurement takes place after the automatic reading of the piece by RF-ID identifier when the cows pass around the camera, without this online measurement disrupting the animal's movement or causing him pain or any stress. The purpose of this technical tool is to replace the work of the breeder and the use of everyday, often even multiple automatic tracking of individual pieces. For accurate identification of dairy cows, therefore, the identification that farms have at their disposal for the identification of cows in the milking parlor or in feeding boxes is used.
